Mona Wiley, is a German born, Egyptian/Italian artist currently living and working in Johnstown, PA She earned her Masters Degree in Professional Leadership with an Arts Leadership concentration at Carlow University where she also received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. She is inspired by strong female artists such as Artemisia Gentileschi, Judy Chicago, and Frida Kahlo. She views her work as an “homage to these strong, powerful, and dominant women; past, present, and future.” Mona is currently going through a revolutionary period in her work.
